ASA MEDALS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES LOCAL UMPIRES
|
The ASA Umpire Medals Program is designed to recognize those ASA umpires who have the stamina, willpower, and fortitude to stick it out and stay with umpiring for more than just a year or two. This rewards the local men and women who support the ASA program and can be relied upon for consistent and high-quality work on local assignments.
All active registered ASA umpires in good standing are eligible to participate in this recognition program, which has four levels. Some umpires may qualify for these levels more quickly if they have umpired in Regional or National Championships and/or attended National Umpire Schools.
The application fee for any level is $20.00 and applications may be obtained from the State UIC, District UIC, the National ASA Office or from the link on this web page. When submitting an application, the Commissioner must approve to indicate the umpire is in good standing. Applications are accepted whenever an umpire becomes eligible, so there is no deadline. Once accepted, the inductee will receive a Medals Certificate, a pin, and a cap for the approved level.
All ASA umpires are strongly encouraged to be a part of this show of pride in what we do. Check the level requirements below and fill out your
